The online demo shows an event repeated weekly (web mtg), a week long event (vacation), and various combinations of start and end times. If you go to the current month, the current day is hilited. Events cannot be added, but the page to add and edit events can be viewed.
Kalendus is distributed as a tar file with the Perl CGI scripts, HTML pages, and images. The documentation covers how to install it with Apache on Unix. Installing it with other web servers is possible, but beyond the scope of the documentation.
